I feel stupid for having to ask this, but how do you set a static IP?
I have a rpi 4b with the most current OS straight from the pi website. It is bone dry and 100% stock. How the blazes do I set a static IP on this thing? Literally nothing from my searches work. There is no dhcpcd.config. There is no gui method that I can find. Literally nothing. I tried editing the /etc/networks/interfaces file but apparently that screwed up my pi and now I cant access it via ssh, but that is a solvable problem. What I need currently is setting a static IP. I feel like it was easier to do way back with the model 2s I used like 10 years ago.
