Are you sure that's accurate, because it suggests industry is paying the same as a home user or maker would pay if they walked into the Cambridge store and bought the same. That doesn't seem likely to me when some retailers sell bulk quantities for lower unit prices. It would be remarkable if they were losing money on those sales, which means it's extra mark-up when not buying bulk. The people buying direct from Raspberry Pi may be paying the same but home users, makers, and small quantity buyers, don't have that opportunity, have to pay whatever mark-up retailers add.Another thing that surprises some industry customers is we do not give discounts. Everyone pays the same price. Home, lab, factory, office, all the same. And this has been the same for 12 years.
