Hi,
I am starting a new project where I have to acquire images with a basler aca1300-30gm camera and process them with a python program on a raspberry Pi 4 model B 8GB RAM. However, I am a beginner with raspberry Pi, and I cant establish a communication between the RPI and the camera without a router.
To do the same on a computer, I dont have to use the router, I just connect the camera directly on the ethernet port, but with the raspberry I have to. So my question is how to do it without a router? Do I have to add static ip address on the dhcpclient.conf file? I already did that but I guess the subnet mask values were wrong, I dont have any knowledge about this...
The ethernet cable that I am using is Cat6. When i plug it, it shows a notification saying "Requesting an ethernet network address for...' on the top right corner with two arrows.
I am using the Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit):
Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
Kernel: Linux 6.6.20+rpt-rpi-v8
Architecture: arm64
aarch64
Firewall is not ufw but nftables (i think)
I also installed pylon 7.1.3
Could someone help me with this problem? Any help would be appreciated![Smile :)]()
