The brute-force method, that requires very little thought, would be a 12V gel cell and a small solar panel connected with a cheap solar charge controller. Connect a 5V buck converter to the output of the charge controller to power the Pi.Hello,
I have already tried the search function and Google extensively, but have not found what I am looking for. I need your help with the following problem:
I control a mini greenhouse using Pi. I use the DHT22 sensor to monitor the humidity. If the humidity is too high, a 5V stepper motor (28BYJ-48 with ULN2003 board) opens a roof hatch.
The motor: https://www.oyostepper.de/goods-1271-28 ... motor.html
The stepper motor is currently powered by a 5V-1A power supply. To save on cables, I would like to switch the power supply to a battery. The batteries are to be charged by a small solar panel.
Thank you very much for any tips and advice on implementation, construction instructions and links!
