I have a Western Digital Elements portable hard drive plugged into my Raspberry Pi 4. The Pi is powered using the official adapter, so I have never had any issues with enough power going to the drive. I have been using various Pi devices for quite a few years. This particular build is from early 2024.

Since using this build, I have been accessing the USB hard drive at:Earlier in July I shut the Pi down and removed the hard drive. Since I have plugged it back in, it was not available at this location. I have attached a screenshot of how it is listed now.
Does anyone know what has caused this? And how I can resolve this?
In the screenshot, folders 1 and 3 initially show a permissions error when trying to open them, and then on the second attempt onwards will allow you into the folder, but it shows as empty.
