Raspberry Pi OS • Re: How to turn off auto logout

Just set up my Pi5 with Bookworm and also getting this issue in the GUI, whereby I leave the system for a little while and come back to find it sat at the login screen. Not assuring.

I'm plugging into a single 1080p LCD TV HDMI socket. It uses much more power than the Pi, so I want to turn it off when it's not in use. I don't want my whole workflow to be scuppered though. I have plenty of RAM and free space. It does sound like crashing, if there's no auto-logging out. I might mention that I get a blank screen for most of the boot process, in case that's of any relevance.

I've tried changing the refresh rate from 50 to 60 Hz in the screen configuration utility (aka the Screen Layout Editor), to see if that makes a difference.
Try this: viewtopic.php?p=2175546#p2175546
Report back if it works (or not).
