Subject: Help Needed: Raspberry Pi 5 USB Overvoltage Issue Preventing Boot (Works via GPIO Power)

Hi everyone,

I'm dealing with an issue on my Raspberry Pi 5. I accidentally overvolted the USB port, and now the Pi won't boot when using the standard power input. However, when I try to power it up through the GPIO pins, it does boot and works fine.

Here’s the situation:

Model: Raspberry Pi 5
Issue: Overvolted the USB port, and it now refuses to boot through the regular power input.
Symptoms: No power indicator or boot activity through USB power, but GPIO power works without issues.
I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on what specific components might need replacement to restore normal USB power functionality. Any advice on parts likely affected by overvoltage (like voltage regulators or other components near the USB power input) would be a huge help. I have a multimeter and soldering tools if needed.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
