Mipi-dbi-compliant means they use the same generic command set.
But still some parameters are dependend/selected by the display manufacturer.
That's why an init command sequence for display A will not be the same for display B even if the TCON and the resolution are the same (most critical parameters being VGH, VGL, VCOM and Gamma).
Where did you get your SKU27579 init command sequence from? Doesn't look to me like the one published by waveshare.
