I've been making games since long before Minecraft came out.
Godot 4+ looks to be close to working on Pi's.
I have used older versions on older Pi's but it they were too slow.

Blender and UPBGE are going through version 4 transitions and may work soon.
Bookworm/Wayfire/Mesa/Vulkan is causing some issues.

A few to 6 months of bug squishing and game development should be working.
While Godot is not Unreal or Unity it should be usable enough for gaming beginners to learn on.
And maybe even make sell-able games on it?

Meanwhile Aframe works if you want to go Webby.

I have use a Pi1B+ as the server and Pi400 as client.
