Sorry, I meant the 7" I guessoh? Another new product? Never seen an official 8in screen, just 7in ones. Do you mind posting a picture?.. The Pi is connected to an official 8" touchscreen.

On the official 7in screens one can access the backlight and select different brightness levels.
