General discussion • Re: New Raspberry Pi Products

I use a Bluetooth mouse these days, but I would expect a Raspberry Pi device to be usable with Raspberry Pi input devices and there is only a USB version branded mouse.

I really don’t get the “I don’t see a need for more than 4GB so nobody else should” solipsism. There are solid uses for more RAM that have already been discussed on these forums and the history of Pi is it being used in ways not predicted. More RAM options will satisfy more uses cases, both known and unknown (in other words futureproof) and meanwhile Rockchip rolls out 32GB options.

A Pi 400 is an alternative form factor Pi which is limited in spec compared to its naked sibling. I understand that more RAM increases the price of the product and that have different RAM options complicates production and supply chain. But times have moved on since the Pi4/400 and of course nobody will ever need more than 640k.
