MicroPython • Re: PicoW MicroPython project: I added a bunch of debug lines to trace a hang and it somehow fixed my crashes

It seems "inefficient" is being used to describe "inconvenience", and particularly a huge one in the case of threading and sometimes when using WiFi. That's fair enough but apart from that everything else about MicroPython appears to be pretty reasonable.

As noted MicroPython has very limited resources and appears not to receive much ongoing support from Raspberry Pi. As I have said before, it seems to me that Raspberry Pi are happy to promote, sell, and profit, from Pico-range products on the back of MicroPython being "supported", may support it to that end, but don't appear willing to support MicroPython beyond that, in bug fixing and making it better for Raspberry Pi users who have bought into using the Pico-range. Adafruit, Pimoroni, Espressif, forum member scruss, and others, are sponsors of MicroPython but the anticipated Raspberry logo is nowhere to be seen. All we usually hear from Raspberry Pi on MicroPython is "it's nothing to do with us". That's disappointing to me but it doesn't seem there is a lot which can be done about that.
