MicroPython • Re: Pico2W & micropython

Some trivial testing shows that preview .uf2 does install and run on an RPi_Pico_2_W, and that a quick config/connect/communicate test of both Wlan and BT shows them both working. Concurrently.

I presume that's the Pimoroni build for the Pico 2W rather than a vanilla MicroPython build for the Pico 2W which doesn't include the additional Pimoroni Libraries - and I am not sure if vanilla MicroPython supports PSRAM yet.

Rather annoyingly Pimoroni don't report which version of MicroPython their builds are based upon.

Rather than use "v0.0.11" it would IMO be better if they simply used the MicroPython version and added the library version they included; something like "v1.25.0-preview-144 (11)". Maybe someone could suggest it to them.

It would also be useful IMO if someone could figure out a way to selectively include the Pimoroni libraries into vanilla MicroPython builds.
