So has no effect, also labwc had no autohide at release when we moved over, but it has since moved to a new 0.8x release, from 0.7x release.
I now have no idea if there is an autohide or not.
Are you sure you're not still using Wayfire on Wayland?
X11 has been dropped for bookworm, but should have been the same as bullseye release. I've not tried X11 on bookworm.
