OK, done that.
The diagnostic screen displayed on both monitors.
The display line reads:
display: DISP0: HPD=0 EDID=none #1 DISP1: HDMI HDP=1 EDID=ok #2
Which would suggest there is a problem with the right hand port?
What do I do now?
What I would do now is note that I have 2 monitors, and (presumably) 2 connecting cables. And two RPi HDMI ports.
Of the 4 possible combinations, one has been tested.
I would systematically test the other 3 options. That might help focus on whether one monitor, cable or RPi HDMI port is suspect.
