That sounds like the same gap as for the Pi 5 I'm putting together here. After all the good reviews I heard about the official cooler, I'm surprised one of the thermal pads doesn't make contact with the part it's supposed to cool.Yes. It's difficult to get a picture, but there is around a 0.5mm gap between the pad and the chip. I can push a flat probe into it easily.After you press it, do you also have a gap? I had it from the beginning on both without pressing on it ... Do you have the older "Active Cooler" with only 3 pads or the newer one with 4 pads? The one with only 3 pads is closer to the PMIC, which is why the gap in one image is smaller than the otherI did press that corner of the cooler down slightly and when I take it off to look now I can see a slight indent from the PMIC and the components round it.
