Same guidance as given to everyone else asking this (or a similar) question:

1. Find make and part number
2. Find data sheet
3. Find or design a driver board

If it's a DPI display you can connect it directly to the GPIO (there maybe device tree overlays for that) but, as you've discovered, that will use all of them. IIRC if you have a couple of spare pins or a couple of pins that are only used to initialise the display you can repurpose those later as bit banged I2C and add one or more GPIO expandeds.
