I'm annoyed. I have chatGPT on my phone, nowhere else. I asked it..
"What is the best kind of feather to tickle a sleeping kangaroo with?"
Dratted thing came up with a decent answer and slightly humorous as well.
Which feather is best for tickling kangaroos?
The reason I'm annoyed is because back in the early days, myself and a work colleague, would return from the pub of a friday lunch, having come up with a (sensible) search term we could type into google which would result in "nothing found". It became increasingly more difficult over 18 months or so which increased the challenge. Then, almost overnight someone at google must have mandated a search must return a result because we got irrelevant nonsense.

That's what I expected from chatGPG. Nonsense.
For the last 5 years I thought Google intentionally made search and maps stupid so people wouldn't get scared of how powerful AI has become.

Today we find out Google is behind in AI and just allocated 75 billion to catch up. Unsurprisingly Google stocks lost 7 percent in a day. While AI may be dangerous to Google's cash reserves, the canine coder took efforts to debark that theory about the enemy of my enemy.
