Is there an issue with VS Code / Raspberry Pi Official VS Code Pico Extension that it's not running 'picotool' with 'sudo' ?Bur VS Code says:
I can't check because the Pico Extension isn't intended to run under my Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm and it doesn't, and I use VS Code without it, but it wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't use 'sudo' to run 'picotool' - Doing so would be a huge security risk if someone somehow had malware masquerading as 'picotool' on their system.
The user should be required to enable running 'picotool' with 'sudo' or copy the udev rules before it does. I don't know how that's handled by the Pico Extension or what the documentation says.
