Yes I do run the website on a PI 4 and I have been connecting to it with RealVNC.
But, haven't been coding on it for a while so I have not seen any problems on it.
It is another PI 4 in my home network where I've seen the problem.
I use it to code for Raspberry PI Pico/Pico2/PicoW in C and micropython.
I also have an project running on ESP32 in micropython.
I've been doing a lot of coding for the last few months for these two projects.
I've been a VNC user for a long time too. I'm guessing 20 years.
I have not had any significant issues except when running it over slower networks.
At one point I ran a VNC client on my home Windows PC to a work Linux box using 56 kbit/sec dialup.
It mostly worked

FYI, my current home network is 1G ethernet and not that much traffic.
All devices are ethernet.
I would rather rely on VNC than run NFS in my home network.
I will run with tigervnc for a few days and report back if it resolves my problems.
