Not really, no.

Original zero, zeroW, and zeroWH use a variation of the single core CPU used by the original model B with PoP RAM. The zero2W uses a variation of the SoC used in the 3B+ in a custom designed package that incorporates the RAM via internal wire links.

Not really a refresh of the Pi3.
I know the history, I was leaving exact terminology out of it.
The black thing was altered/refreshed to make the Pi3 work on a Zero2 series (and others) as the RP3 chip.
Edit:
Oh I see ,typo on RP0 if that's what you read as RPZero should read RP3 series 'chip'.
