If I had two official monitors plus official microHDMI cables in several lengths, I would.I'd just leave the setup that works, why switch monitors & RPi(?).
I will experiment with that next week when I can assemble everything again. I am also thinking about booting with two monitors. The default video config should not be changed. My experiments were with USB boot in Pi 4 and PCIe boot in a Pi 5. I might also test an earlier backup as I have several microSD cards.SSH
