Using NVM for video file editing wears the Flash out like nothing else, hence my suggestion. But yes I use a PC for it, it was just a suggestion for those who use Pis for everything.But how would it be faster than NVMe 'v-mem/scratch' which saturates the PCIe lane already.Editing huge audio-video files.Maybe the Linux NUMA-aware memory allocator could reasonably manage an address range of slow PCIe-attached memory. Even so, I'm not sure what I'd use it for.
And A Pi for video editing? get something that accelerates it, a similar priced PC with a modern iGPU for example.
