By a bit of trial and error, i have solved the immediate issue regarding uploading the videos.
I could not get the WurlyVideo skin to upload video files but got the MikeTV skin to do so.
The easiest was to do this was to just change the fruitbox.ini file to the MikeTV skin and then just boot fruitbox as normal ( cd fruitbox and the ./fruitbox) and the the MikeTV skin loaded the database with the OGV files. It also loads the MP3 files. I did not matter if OGV and/or MP3's were in a directory called Music or Videos, as long as the music path was there to point to both.
All good so far.....but now to the next problem in that the process of converting the MP4 to OGV using "freeconvert" seems to diminish the quality to an unacceptable level.....i'll update this if i find a resolution but if anyone knows how to keep the quality when converting then much appreciated...
