Hi. In the spirit of the community, I received some help so I also try to provide some help. Disclaimer, I am also trying to understand my problem and in the process of working on it.

I put my post that is related to your problem viewtopic.php?t=394145 as a starting point since my post also contains a reference to an older forum post regarding your issue.

How to solve, minimise, mitigate your issues, I do not know yet (for my problem using legacy solution). The new solution is using libcamera's tuning. You'll probably find 6x9's posts there helpful.

In short, your issue is about lens shading. You see this problem when you swap the stock lens from Camera V2 with your chosen lens. The stock lens shading that comes with the firmware on the camera is not optimised for your lens. So depending on your AWB settings, that green dot at the centre may be more apparent.

You are likely needing to tweak lens shading for that lens and also try AWB with greyworld instead of auto. The greyworld seems to help with NoIR to mitigate the common problem of daytime images looking purple or magenta.

Hope it helps. I am the blind helping the blind... :)
