Thanks for the confirmation.
Just set my tablet's Chrome to "Desktop" access and my problem went away. Browser Refresh no longer logs me out.
So ... seems it's the "Mobile View" that's somehow broken at one end or other. Perhaps something got made "better" somewhere.
I also have some daft thing with this Chrome that it won't access one of my Pi web servers. Rebooted everything, cleared everything I'm allowed to on Chrome, used direct IP address and it's not the server.
