I have been using an older version of the imager to make images of the software, no problem.
Every time I open the programme I get an offer to update to the new version. I did that about 3 hours ago. Now when I try to make a new image it runs me through all the new boxes I have to tick before trying to erase the disk prior to loading, the software then crashes saying it can't find the storage device.
I am using a powered extension USB socket with 7 ports, each time I try to download a copy of the pi software it kills the port. I now have 3 ports that don't show micro cards when they are plugged into a USB converter and into the ports, the other ports are fine and show the cards.
I have done all the instructions in paragraph 1 of
https://www.google.com/search?q=switch+ ... s-wiz-serp
(enabling/powering ports) with no change.
Any ideas what I can do to get my ports back and is this going to happen every time I try to use the imager?
If so where do I download an old version of the imager?
