The answer (5/4096)/2 for noise was a concrete piece of information, and I hope I can do better than this at some point. 1/2 a step for noise is not a bad start. I was asking about the voltage noise while remaining at a set DAC output (while the piezo remains at a position), b.c. if the voltage noise is similar to the voltage increment of one step, I would not be able to resolve single steps in the piezo.
