I archived my archive of WiringPi at the beginning of the year, since I had enough things dogging at my heels with the Pi 5/Bookworm/gpiod transition.
At the time I put out a call for maintainers, and I always intended to honour that call and hand the reins of the org over to whoever volunteered.
Someone volunteered, I gave them the keys, and they have just tagged their first release today:

But all accounts it looks like they've been busy! I cannot vouch for this library since I haven't used WiringPi in years, but here's a heads up for those who might want it.
