The Connect screen sharing window will show your remote desktop at whatever resolution your remote Raspberry Pi device is using.

If you have a display connected to your remote device, it might be that the resolution is too high to be legible in a browser window. In that case, you can change the resolution (e.g. in Trixie, select the Raspberry Pi icon in the top-left corner of the menu bar, go to Preferences > Control Centre, scroll down to Screens, right-click on your screen and select a lower resolution).

If you don't have a display connected (that is, your remote device is headless) then Connect will resize your remote resolution to match the size of your browser window (defaulting to 1280x769). Resizing your browser window will then attempt to update your remote resolution to match.

(Note that your browser's "Zoom In" feature likely won't work as the screen sharing window is a fixed size canvas.)
