If you play games, it can be good to have a little extra RAM as well. PSP and PPSSPP can cache full ISO in RAM. Which makes everything faster.
Usually a PSP game is around 1-1.5GB. But there are exceptions such as Final Fantasy Type-0 which is around 3GB. PSP works very well on RPi5. Even with upscaling on some games.
I've always said that you should buy as much RAM as you can afford, because you never know when you need it. Unfortunately, the price of RAM today is high :/.
