Did some testing this afternoon. Sent 0x55 over UART0 & UART2. Still incorrect on UART0, but fine on UART2.
The first test with a 4k7 pulldown immediately solved the problem.
What exactly went wrong???
0x05 on the yellow tape is incorrect; it should be 0x55.
