Not sure if I have understood it correctly, but using Bookworm 32-bit LITE, with vlc installed, and connected to an HDMI monitor, I log in to the pi and use cvlc to play am mp4 on that attached HDMI screen. Maybe we actualy want to view a stream rather than an mp4 file?
