thanks for the info! I am glad I didn't overlook anything in my search. fingers crossed someone with more knowledge than me has a use for dual slots and creates the board lol.
luckily in my setup of a 2.4/5ghz wifi card that uses PCIe and the wifihalow card uses USB.
a sandwich is the ideal form factor for me, so a carrier board for the CM4/5 with the E key on the back and GPIO pins could leave the the GPIO open for a hat to install another E key on the top.
