All our office computers have internet connection as they are connected to our office network through Ethernet cables.
We need to setup Webserver in RPi. This has to be done in local network such that RPi not connected to our office network and has no connection to the internet.
We are thinking about USB to Ethernet adapter attached to the Windows PC. Would it be a kind of local network ?
The RPi will be connected to this USB to Ethernet adapter through RJ45 Ethernet cable. Is this right way of establishing local network ?
The Ethernet cable between USB to Ethernet adapter and the RPi can also go through router. Would that be right configuration ? We need to implement Web Server on the RPi or on the Windows PC. This will be one server and one client configuration.
Lastly, is that possible to get remote desktop connection to RPi in Windows PC using VNC enable in RPi with the setup described above ?
