Of course they work. All three are well-known household names, that produce equipment at least as good as Apple and at larger quantites. I had a Samsung tablet that lasted years, now have a Lenovo they does everything I need with no issues at all. All much cheaper than Apple. You are paying for a name and a walled garden, not anything more.
On the other hand the iPad doesn't work because it's not compatible with the software.
In a way it's really about software support.
