A variant of the Pi Zero or Zero 2W, with eMMC instead of SD Card, USB port one end, HDMI/VGA at the other, should make a great GUD adaptor.It struck me a moment ago (when replying to a related post) that a GUD adapter/dongle would be an ideal use for the CM0... shame it's only available in a single country.
Having a RP3A0 SoC variant with Flash in-chip would avoid eMMC and SD, it could perhaps lose some GPIO and other interfaces to reduce cost, though I'd keep GPIO as it would still make it useful for other maker projects; it would be the 'Pico 3' I'd like. I'd also keep Wi-Fi so it can serve as a wireless magic mirror, digital picture frame, signage, without a USB connection.
But maybe all it needs is a pre-programmed GUD image, which is 'write-protected', on a provided SD Card, Pi Zero 2W, PSU, case and cables, in a "Pi GUD Adaptor Kit" box ?
Gain momentum then optimise the product.
