I have four Raspberry Pi 4, Model B SBC's (as well as a Raspberry Pi 400) all of which are presenting with the same issue.
When I install the micro-SD card which contains the Raspberry Pi OS, the activity LEDs indicate the SD Card is not present (Solid Green, Solid Red). This is the same behavior as if no card were present.
I have verified bootfs is readable on all 10 cards I have formatted. I even tried Trixie 64 bit, Trixie 32-bit, Bookworm 64- & 32-bit versions as well as a 3-5-23 version of 32-bit PI OS, which i found in my stash of SD Cards. I even had an associate make a full 64-bit Trixie version on his computer to try.
I have created Raspberry pi OS versions using Raspberry pi imager on my Windows 10 computer, Balena Etcher on my Windows 10 computer and Raspberry Pi Imager on my Rocky Linux 10 laptop.
I have used multiple power supplies.
I even went so far as to purchase a new Raspberry Pi 4, Model B from Amazon to see it may be a systemic hardware issue, nothing improved.
I can't believe I've bricked five Raspberry Pi 4 family single board computers, all but the new one from Amazon have worked in the past.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
