hello i'm using arch linux and a Raspberry pi zero 2 W and would like to access it with a usb cable.
I've added
modules-load=dwc2,g_ether
to the cmdline.txt.
and:
dtoverlay=dwc2
to config.txt.
and added ssh to the boot folder.
I've tried different distributions from the rpi-imager aswell as the arch arm https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv ... -pi-zero-2.

I've tried different usb cables for the usb port on my rpi. all are a bit longer than 10 cm.

Nothing seems to work.
with the ip link command i see an:
5: enp0s20u1 ...
but its state is DOWN

I'm not able to access it with ssh.

Any help please? Thank you very much!
Presumably the enp0s20u1 down is on the Arch Linux system?

To use the USB cable connection with a Pi client you need to have the server side (Arch Linux in your case) configured as well.

No clue what the magic incantation is on Arch to enable that usb hotspot.
