Some apps that play DRM protected content won't work on uncertified Android TV devices for various reasons (SafetyNet/Play integrity APIs, Widevine L1 requirement, etc). Android TV versions of various streaming apps tend to be more strict on these device integrity requirements that the regular mobile versions. Try installing the regular mobile versions of the applications instead.

You can install .apk files using the built-in file manager or 'adb install'. Or sideload some alternative app store (Aurora, F-Droid, etc) from an .apk file and use it to install other apps.

thank you for the lineageos on rpi4. I use it 2 years with the last build from january 24. Would these build be the last version based on android 13 or will we get newer builds based on android 13 during next month by using the internal update by using ota?

Is it possible using the internal twrp-update for lineageos21 or must we install a complete new rpi version with android 14 on the rpi4?

Yes, it's very possible that there will be no further updates on Android 13 releases. Moving forward with Android 14.

I recommend clean installation between Android versions to avoid any issues. It should be possible to update LineageOS 20 -> 21 if you also install possible add-ons (GApps, etc) at the same time. I'd at least recommend creating a backup in TWRP before trying that in case anything goes wrong.
