Correct. However, as is with the case with the OP, there is absolutely no guarantee or suggestion that the topology will work. TLDR: don't buy random accessories off the Internet, plug them between the Pi and its approved power supply, and expect things to just work.That things are not allowed by a spec doesn't mean they don't exist. A short USB-C extension lead is the easiest thing to use if a Pi 4B or 5 is fitted in a case and one wants to route its USB-C socket to a USB-C socket on the case. One only has to make sure it got the right wires included and is correctly current rated.
