Possibly it would?, but I dunno? I just like electronics (as a whole) to come come in this fashion. The device itself, the replacement, I cannot fault, and was well worth the wait to get an undamaged one. Really enjoying this little marvel, and is a big step up from the Pi 4. We live in good times, and as I previously said, they deserve all the praise they get for the actual device itself.I think an anti-static bag would prevent the Pi from rattling about inside the box and reduce the chances of damage or a bent pin. Whether this is a common problem or not is unclear.
I have now heard back from suppliers of original, and they have sent me a label for RMA at their cost, with an apology, and a guaranteed full refund, so, all good
