I'm architecting a home robotics project focusing on real-time object detection. I'm considering leveraging the Pimoroni Base Duo to integrate the Hailo AI accelerator and NVMe storage on my Raspberry Pi 5. I understand the bus speeds are limited to Gen2 for the base duo. What kind of frame rates can I expect from this hardware stack for inference? Alternatively, would I achieve better performance by dedicating the PCIe lane solely to the Hailo AI with Gen3 speeds and falling back to the Pi5's microSD for I/O operations? I am looking for a hardware solution that can give me the maximum fps as I do several vehicle maneuvers based on the position of the object.
