In India Official Raspberry Pi 512 GB SSD is going to be shipped from Second Week of December.

I'm contemplating to use Crucial P3 Plus 1TB PCIe 4.0 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD. Its much economical when you calculate cost per GB.

From my POV the official cards are too expensive as well when comparing to other commodities. Just wanted you to be warned.

There is no legal requirement to use Raspberry Pi SD cards or SSDs. Use whatever you are comfortable with. We have however put these devices through very vigorous test procedures to make sure they work well in the Pi range of products.
