This helped. Thank you.Went through the same problem after update wayvnc to 0.9.0,
it cannot initialize while having both a WIFI connection and an ethernet connection.
Mine solution is rather simple, reinstall wayvnc using apt, then reboot.
Sounds quite confusing, but it does works.
